How you can be tracked even with your GPS turned off
Researchers from Princeton University have discovered a new way to accurately track you— even if you turn your GPS location off.
No accelerometer. No Barometer. No gyroscope. No GPS. No IP address. No Google apps. Battery goes about 4 days on a charge. Reception is great - even under a metal roof. Granted you can triangulate from cell towers and stingrays and get a rough estimate of location but that's about all.
I just looked at the site. I was unaware that CyanogenMod was going away. It doesn't look like my phone is on their "supported devices" list
