Why? Just... why???

Microsoft Say Edge May Come to Linux "Eventually" - OMG! Ubuntu!

Linux builds of Microsoft Edge (the new version using Chromium) aren't available yet, but the Edge team say it's something they'd 'like to do eventually'.

They want to serve you their ads, their bing, their outlook, their MSN. So they have evolved over the years a bit that if they have to do that on Linux, iOS, or Android, they'll just bite their nails and go for the revenues. Easy.

Many years ago I would run Windows 7 with nothing but open-source apps installed.  I wonder if there are people who run Linux with a bunch of MS Applications installed, trying to make it like Windows.

I think I do remember a desktop theme like that, but I think it was more aimed at people who trying to convince their relatives (read: stubborn parents :-D) to switch to Linux.
